If Things Don't Improve, Yanks Must Reconsider Future

Submitted by Jack Simpson, May 20, 2008 17:31

Growing up in the Boston area, I am a rabid Red Sox fan. I started following baseball during Ted Williams last season, and have never stopped loving the game. My second favorite team was always the Yanks. I read many books about both teams and their storied histories and have always pulled for both. I am sure that the Yanks will weather this storm and come back stronger than ever. I feel that they have made some bad personel moves in the last couple of years and need to start rebuilding now. I think that the Stienbrenner family would do well to start with the GM. I think that Brian Cashman has made some very poor signings. While Johnny Damon plays hard and would run through a wall for you, he will continue to break down. They are getting old fast . Not bringing back Joe Torre was not the answer the GM is the one that needs to go. Good luck, lets get this thing started now.
