Cowardly Abuse of Freedom

I would like to encourage everyone who regularly forwards e-mails concerning the character of another, or articles warning about so-called hazards etc. to please research them first.

I am guilty myself of just hitting forward on anything that I think proposes potential danger that I think others should know about. However, recently I sent something to a friend and they wote back and told me that the article was totally a fake and they found out by coming to snopes.com. Since then I have been coming here and reading up on any subject I feel is questionable before sending it on to others.

After reading all the information concerning the article about Barrack Obama that was circulated and supposedly written by Ken Blackwell, I will say I understand how things can get twisted but also believe there is truth behind much of what was written but you have to carefully read the statements on here and think about the wording of things. For instance to say he does not support gay marriage but supports gay civil unions is kind of contradictory in my opinion.
