Dear Senator Kennedy: I am saddened by your prognosis. I am praying fervently that God will grant you His peace and spare you for many years yet. As I pray I remember Hezekiah who was given news that he should set his house in order as he was about to die. He prayed to God and His life was spared for many more years. I am having that faith in God that He will spare you for many more years despite your prognosis. Once in a while a good politician comes around. You have been that good politician. You play fairly. Life in the Senate and in USA politics will not be the same when you exit the stage. You have fought for Americans and non- American alike. How I wish that the House had passed your immigration bill. Will they do anything now? Will they pass it in honor of you? I wrote to you sometime ago and your responded and I thought how very personable you are. You received a letter from an insignificant person and took the time to write back and sign the letter. May God grant you His peace in this time of difficulty.
