Just a point of fact/clarification -- Pantsir S1E air-defense was in place and operational at the time of the Israeli airstrike. It was one of the unstated public reasons for the attack in that the system was effectively defeated much to the dismay of the Syrians and the Russians. The ECM (electronic counter-measures) used were Israeli Aircraft Industry produced and are now part of the the US Air Force ECM package on most of the B-1 and B-2 bombers. One must assume, however, that as in all things related to war and weapons: upgrades to the Pantsir system have been made.
