A Prosecutor Is Called 'Relentless'

Submitted by CS Goldstein, Jul 30, 2008 01:18

This is not the first time a dedicated prosecutor is attacked for actually doing his job. We are in a war, and whether one agrees with it, or not, we have enemies within and without our borders. Al-Arian has played our courts and judicial system time and again. It's enough already. These machinations are exactly why terrorists, especially those captured on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan, should not be tried in civilian courts. Many who have been released have returned to terrorism. Al-Arian cannot be released, because he is slated, I believe, to be deported. When these people come here, they have to accept our government of laws. They must be made to understand what free speech is and is not. It just so happens our First Amendment freedoms are derived from the guarantee of freedom of religion (freedom from a state imposed religion). It's time the judiciary get up to speed concerning our enemy. All who are standing for election to the judiciary should be thoroughly questioned by the press and the people concerning what they know, in fact. That remains in the hands of the people, and it is our responsibility to make sure we are informed about our candidates. Mr. Kromberg deserves our complete support and gratitude.
