Governor Spitzer stated in his speech: "In order to return to policies of opportunity and prosperity, we must change the ethics of Albany, and end the politics of cynicism and division in our state."

This statement is nothing but a fallacy, because in order to change the ethics among New York's politicians, they must first have some semblance of ethical behavior with which to start.
