As a strong atheist, anti-theist,I am proud of Dr.Shermer now being a fellow atheist and will read his new book , especially about the use of arguments to rebut theistic criticisms of naturalism. I wish he would make appearnce @the Society forums to help us make better posts there . Ruse and Scott can use the two worlds approach but we can state that science leads to no god as Victore Stenger will show in a forthcoming book. They fear that our approach keeps special creationist from becoming evolutionist creationists. That is not the point: we just want the truth out! @ the Society libray ,Amiel Rossown shows the contradiction inherent in theistic evololution in his essay on K enneth Miller. @ the Society forum ,Massimo Pigliucci states that Miller undoes what he achieves in the first half of his book in the second half. It won't do to allege a two category classification of origins or contingency and creation or necessary being[ Russell Stannard] as that begs the question of the second category .The god notion is just the tautology that God wills what He wills! It is an empty notion. One congratulates Shermer for his books , the Society , the magazine and all his other efforts for skepticism . I hope others appreciate this article!
