Health Scares Ahead

Submitted by J.P. Myers, Jan 3, 2007 08:46

Her organization, the American Council on Science and Health, takes industry money and defends chemicals. It's medical/executive director, Gilbert Ross, spent 1996 in jail after being convicted of racketeering and mail fraud in what court records describe as "an elaborate
conspiracy to defraud the New York Medicaid program. I am not making that up. It's a matter of public record: http://www.hhs.gov/dab/decisions/cr-478.htm ACSH publications regularly and consistently misrepresent scientific findings. This diatribe by Whelan is more of the same.
