The American Advisory Panel's recommendation is absurd. Who are the people on the board? Are any of them urologists, oncologists or experts on prostate cancer? My husband was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer two months before his 76th birthday. He's being treated with radiation therapy and hormone injections. Should he have just been discarded of? I bet those people on the board would be first on line for the PSA test or even more intricate testing if they ever get anywhere near that age.
