What a great article! I want to read Sokal's book. But I do have a question: Is science always the best system for understanding the world? If science is vulnerable to cultural influence and bias, then isn't the task of establishing unbiased knowledge extremely difficult? Can science in the 21st century exist outside of a political and economic influence? Are the academics and the scientists experiencing the same problem: trying to avoid bias in an honest attempt to find The Truth?
