When will people learn?

Every politician is out there today to make a name for themselves not to really help. I have truly encountered a small group of politicians that really showed they cared for their constituents and produced.

We have a Massive Public Transportation System with the emphasis on Public! Mr Balboni is trying to draw attention to himself for the sake of his new boss Mr. Spitzer not John & Jane Q. Public. We certainly don't need another Chuckie TV Star Schumer.

Everyone always knew that security of any part of NY Mass Transit system was an issue before 9-11. People talked about with the incident in the Japanese Subway System and with the first World Trade Center Bombing. More federal money has come into New York under the disguise of Security Funds Post 9-11 to date that It would pay close to a 1 year of the Iraq War. With all the money todate no one has really seen the cost effectiveness or realistic improvements towards security. Extra Police, some cameras, access control do not total $80 billion in federal funds. So, should more taxpayer money be thrown towards security when other Mass Transit Issues like condition of stations, quality of service and equipment are still prevalent. You have individuals, especially politicians who do not know from a hill of beans what is needed to secure NY's mass transit system.

And Balboni's civil liberties cock and bull story. Let's all huddle under the fear we may offend someone. Please other cities acroos the US have been installing cameras on buses and they have proven two things: a great means of catching people committing crime and prosecution of those individuals and slacken workers. It's worked well for Chicago and Illionios County as you can read on the following link:

In all, you need to address what's wrong with state of good repair for the entire system, then address the qualification of individuals for the various aspects of Security planning, design, construction and management and finally availability of funding the realistic and practical.

The other thing keep George Soros away from politics and the ability to invest in anything related to NY and this country.
