Another Middle East War Is on the Horizon

Submitted by Shelby LaPre, Nov 3, 2006 07:51

Israel and the US cannot "win" a regional war. In the end, everything, including Israel, will be destroyed if all out war comes to this region. The American people must stop backing insane policies that are promoting a regional war to happen. Peace is the only way for all to survive. War is a dead end. It is time we Americans stop funding the Israeli war machine and stop sending Israel billions of dollars of welfare checks and force them to enter into serious peace talks with the countries in the region. The real evil here is the fascists in America will do anything to perpetuate the climate of war because it gives them an excuse to control the region's oil wealth. We Americans must stop this mutual suicide pact and force our leaders to focus on the creation of a Palestinian state and a withdrawal from Iraq. The UN has long been active in this process, it's the Americans and the Israelis who have sabotaged and derailed this process time and time again; and time is running out. We have created a powder keg in the region that if allowed to explode, via war with Iran and Syria over trumped up charges of 'terrorism', then the entire world may never know peace. This is a foolish war that we will be asked to fight so our oil companies, war profiteers and fascists in our own government can go on feeding their military industrial machine. There is a deep irony here; America will have become Nazi Germany. A fascist state that stands for military industrial power and little more. In the end the Jewish people will be the ones who suffer, along with the rest of the world. We must return to diplomacy and talks that forge a lasting and fair peace for all people, before it's too late for all people. Ignore the rhetoric and propaganda calling for war! We are not nations at war, we are nations of people, who desire peace.
