I agree that it important to remember what happened at Tiananmen. My husband and I have written a novel called Rabbit in the Moon by Deborah and Joel Shlian that tells the story of one reluctant Cultural Revolution victim who gets involved in the student democracy movement because of his relationship with a Chinese woman born in America who convinces him that he must stand up for freedom. It is now 19 years after what the Chinese government calls the June 4th "incident" and many of those born after that time or even those who were very young in 1989, have never heard the real story.
