Russia cannot be trusted. The USA should strike now while the Russian Military Strength is still a figment of their old timers memories. It may be able to find a 25,000 man army with their 1 million man army by sheer numbers but Russia is no match for the seasoned troops of the USA Army or the USA military technology. At a minimum Georgia should appoint the USA military as state police to protect and serve.
