As much of a hawk as I am, and as much as it would satisfy my rage to have a US aircraft carrier in the Black Sea, it would not be wise to strike Russia in Georgia. As weak as their military is next to ours, they have nukes which they'd launch in a last ditch offense when they lost the war. That's why it is so critical that Iran not get nukes. If I were Bush, I'd go ahead with the sale of arms to Israel and issue the green light on a strike on Iranian nuclear facilities.
