Push To Limit Parking May Slow Development

Where did this "Transportation Alternatives" group come from? If any organization qualifies as "tool" it would be this one. I'd love to see the Sun do an profile on this lobbying group. Great to see their membership verified through DMV records as "not owning cars", as well as, confirming that they all live in the outer boroughs and "live by" public transportation — preferably commuting at least 3 hours a day — as they advocate that this is "normal." I'd also love confirmation on the non-MTA users all bike riding to work. This "group" has inserted themselves as an authority with moral high ground on every recent transit issue, so they deserve some scrutiny. We should audit "Transportation Alternatives" — where do they get their funding?
