Nothing is "taught" to us in the Mosques about us joining the military. Most Muslims are under represented because we don't always agree with what the military would make us do such as attack Iraq or Iran in the near future. Muslims have no problems in joining a military as long as there is a respectable honorable reason to go to war such as the one in Afghanistan. But if you are going to say there is are WMD in a country when the war is about oil, Muslims will not join. We don't need a Mosque, a mullah, or anyone else to make that determination for us. Most of us can make that determination ourselves.
