We all live in pockets of isolation and conjure up our own perceptions, these perceptions become our realities but are not necessarily the truth. We seem to be incapable of putting this issue through critical thinking. The comments made in previous posts where one person talks about how children were treated is something I can relate to. The other comment I can't go along with. With, almost a century of drug prohibition, almost four decades of the war on drugs and spending over a trillion dollars on interdiction alone--And now we have more drugs at cheaper prices than ever before on our streets. What would one call our present policy? Many would call it insanity. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is nothing but. It's time to lick wounds and bring these drugs inside of the law. Crime would be all but eliminated. When was the last time one saw a Coors beer salesman fight over turf with Budweiser salesman? That is my point exactly. End this drug war and provide a tax base from the sale and distribution of cannibis and hemp to communities hardest hit by this drug war. After all it is a problem created and sustained by the very laws themselves. An unjust law is no law at all.
