Use Iran To Force Putin's Hand

While your article is interesting and filled with onesided emotions, it does lack in understanding of the situation in that part of the world. Russia has, and will always have the upper hand in Middle East, and in most of europe. Primarily because of its energy power, unlimited brain power, and its willingness to be a reliable partner only if, those countries don't hold both hands with the west. The West has come and set up a party in its back yard, and they don't like the noise, so now the ruskis will set up a party in cuba, venezuela, and in the middle east. And there's nothing that we can, or will do here in the states about it. Mostly because we need Russia, on issues such as Iran,Syria, North Korea, etc. The only thing that we can offer to georgians are some blankets, used M 16s, and a list of nice words. Even NATO is resisting any strong action against the ruskis, because Moscow is way closer to them than Washington, and if Russia is happy, chances are Europe will also be happy, and warm during the winter time. It seems to me that the Russians are calling the shots now in that part of the world, and all that we will do is watch the show from the sidelines. They don't just talk, they back it up.
