Legal Challenges Likely in Term Limits Fight

Kudos to Norman Siegel for "nailing" it. "If the mayor and the speaker engage in an unholy alliance to undo the people's will...." Everything since Bloomberg took office has been an "unholy alliance" — whether it be with the City Council, Corporate bedfellows, or luxury developers — nothing has been even close to the "peoples will." I'm encouraged to hear that there'd been organized opposition to such Banana Republic maneuvers. Term limits are the only saving grace for New York City — much of the Council needs to be removed. And with regards to the mayor: 492 days, 14 hours, and 45 minutes.
