A New Kind of Supersizing Tempts at Healthy Salad Bars

Submitted by Waldo Grade, Aug 26, 2008 13:07

Good issue to report on. I've learned not to approach salad bars if I'm very hungry because 'a little of this and a little of that' soon becomes a lot of everything and whole point of eating healthy is subverted. Using Whole Foods as the backdrop lends an ironic (though perhaps slightly unfair) perspective. The quotes on how how containers drive our tendency to over-fill and the fact that the average salad bar customer is over-eating were worth the article alone. Well done, instructive and a lesson I will use to check myself!
