Let's hope that the Democrats who now control the House and Senate will do something about eminent domain abuse. Last year the House passed an excellent eminent domain bill, (HR 4128), but the Senate refused to act on this bill or an identical one (S 3873) in the Senate. President Bush, Senator Arlen Specter (R PA) and former Senator, Bill Frist (R TN) all do not support property rights, and their Party paid dearly for it on November 7th. Let's hope the Democrats have learned from the arrogance of the Republicans.
