Thank you, Mr. McWhorter. I will not vote for Sen. Obama, but the fact he is black has nothing to do with it. I will not vote for him because I disagree with his plans to increase capital gains and dividend taxes, which will hurt capital formation, and will substantially raise taxes on those earning more than $200,000 (I'm not one). I do not believe he will not raise taxes on those earning less than $200,000 because to finance his spending programs he will have to. I suspect he will follow Pres. Clinton's lead, campaign on a middle class tax cut and then raise taxes on everyone. I will not vote for him because of his position on abortion, and especially because of his votes on "born alive" legislation. I will not vote for him because of his total lack of foreign policy experience. We had a president with a similar lack -- Carter, and that was a disaster. Pres. Clinton didn't have much experience either, and that was almost as bad as Carter.
