NYC's water has only 6 mg of magnesium per liter. To be truly healthy, it should have 100 mg of magnesium per liter, as most consumers are Mg-deficient. The Healthy Water Association recommends that all bottled beverages be magnesium-enhanced to 100 mg of magnesium per liter, to prevent much heart disease and stroke. A few natural springs contain substantial magnesium, but the average bottled water in the US contains only 3 mg of magnesium per liter. People live longer in areas with substantially higher magnesium in water. For medical journal articles about the benefits of magnesium, to to the Magnesium Online Library at www.MgWater.com And don't drink NYC's water, unless you also take a magnesium supplement.
