Deaf People May Soon Hear Again, Scientists Say

Submitted by sandra, Aug 29, 2008 13:18

Great for people who want to improve their hearing (hard of hearing, or hearing culture folks) but it should be a choice that the deaf individual makes. They may be like deafsweetmind and happy in their culture. Deaf Culture doesn't miss sound like Hearing Culture does. Deaf Culture says, "I can't hear, so what." Hearing Culture says, "You can't HEAR? WE must fix it!" Should be the individual's choice, not the doctors, parents or educators.
