By this reasoning, the US was negligent in not preventing Israel from getting the bomb. The zionist raison d'etre has always been the displacement of the local inhabitants of the ancient land of Israel. Describing Iran as genocidal must be some kind of a joke, since no country in the Mideast has exhibited genocidal tenencies close to those of Israel. When recently has Iran invaded or occupied any other country? Sure the Iranian leader is a nut, but it doesn't take much searching to find equally nutty stuff coming out of the mouths of Israeli leaders. Hey Israel won this land with the sword; all Iran wants is the right of reconquest. And if Israel doesn't come to its senses about emptying out its settlers and agreeing to a bona fide Palestinian state, we just might see this right of reconquest in action.
