Vince Giordano has always been one of my favorite musicians and an all-around nice guy. I have had the pleasure and privilege of singing with the Nighthawks on several occasions, around New York, and in Connecticut, and the experience was phenomenal. I look forward to an extremely long run for Vince at Sofia's, just so he can remain in Times Square, the very heart and soul center of New York City, and even more importantly, right in the middle of Tin Pan Alley. I was disappointed that my recent travel to New York did not allow me the time to go and hear him. I shall certainly plan on going to see the show NEXT time I am in New York, and would even like to plan a show WITH them! Keep on Jazzin', Vince! Thank you Mr. Friedwald for publishing this great review of a great orchestra and it's great leader!
