On the experience issue with regard to Obama, there is currently a debate in Illinois on whether legislators should be allowed to hold a second government job given that being a legislator in Illinois has always been basically a part time job. Those Illinois legislators who don't hold a second government job, by and large have a second job in the private sector. My point is that Obama's thin history as a legislator in Illinois amounted to a part time job, arguably true as well of his history as a Senator. But Palin has been a governor for almost two years, and governing a state is in no shape or form a part time job. Obama's part time job as a legislator is somehow supposed to stack up against Palin's full time job as a governor?
