It is quite obvious that this author is a dyed-in-the-wool Republican who votes the same as all his predecessors have since day one. Being a Canadian I don't have a vote in your Country, but I have followed U.S. politics for many years. The U.S., like Canada, needs new blood in politics. John McCain, who would likely die in office if he were to win, is just old Tory politics rehashed. The United States is in a critical condition as a nation and they need a new visionary to turn things around. Barack Obama is that visionary
