J Rupp: "And she was a big fundraiser for disgraced Senator Stevens. This is reform?" Nice Smear! This doesn't refute the reform story, it IS the reform story. Dems and Republicans both tend to endorse and fundraise for each other, sometimes long after corruption and wrong doing have come to light, but Senator Stevens was only indicted on July 29th of 2008. None of this detracts from the fact that she has opposed this powerful republican on the "Bridge to nowhere", enacted tough new ethics legislature in her state and run against an incumbent governer from her own party after calling attention to his corruption. Yes! That is Reform we can Believe In.
