To Make Ends Meet, More Risk Eviction To Run 'Hotels'

Eeek! Not only is this not hygienic, but it is seriously a public safety issue. We already know about the bed bug situation and that is only the beginning. Having strangers sleeping in the same space within hours of each other and not using suitable cleaners is a virtual breeding ground for all kinds of diseases. As far as public safety, giving strangers access to my building compromises the safety of my neighbors (many who have children!) and my own safety should some nut slip through the cracks. They can't properly screen these people over the phone and through the internet! And how dare that woman rent out a storage alcove. That would be like me throwing a mattress in my walk in storage closet and renting it out. If they can't afford to live in the their neighborhood then they need to move where they can afford to live. Hoboken is only a few minutes away from downtown Manhattan.
