Mr. Klein is a non-educator running the largest school system in the USA. He has hurt the system more than helped the NYC DOE. To think if he would run fo mayor he would destroy NYC also. I have been teaching for over 30 years in NYC and see how the NYC DOE has become more bureaucratic with more money wasted. Schools are now run by inexperienced principals who have few years in the school system or in a classroom for that matter. Tenured teachers in phasing out schools have no place to go for they cannot be hired because no one wants to pay their high salaries. I wish that real educators would make educational decisions for our students and not lawyers who never taught or businessmen who never taught. It is a sorry day now and in the future if Bloomberg or Klein continue to run the NYC School System or God forbid if Klein became mayor.
