If he has even a few unsold works the so called waiting list is a little bogus. Why anyone would want one of Hirst's signature pieces? is more about Trophies in the most traditional way just like the big game hunter (wealthy) who displays the body of the dead animal as a symbol of his phony manliness and hunting skills (ha ha ) Strange that the Art World hasn't picked up on this but then when you see everything including your wife as a trophy I guess I shouldn't be surprised ? But I am shocked that the rest of the production by Hirst is not seen for how derivative it is For anyone who knows Tom Downing 60s DOT paintings ? the list goes on...
