There isn't much sport or honor in aerial hunting, is there. Enough said about that. About how to try to counter the energy and excitement over Palin, if Democrats don't find ways before the vice-presidential debate, I think it'll become very clear at that point how limited her national and international experience and knowledge on those issues really is. In March of last year, FOUR YEARS after the invasion of Iraq, Palin said, "I haven't really focused much on the war in Iraq." She also said she believes that that war is a "task that is from God." Our country faces such great challenges right now that it needs Barack Obama and Joe Biden, both of whom have NATIONAL experience in the Senate and understand how to end the unnecessary deaths and billions of dollars going to Iraq, so we can focus on putting down the Taliban in Afghanistan, which has sprung up again precisely because of the focus on the war in Iraq. Obama and Biden will also stop the economy from cratering. They have the experience, vision, judgment and temperament needed to keep America moving in the right direction, rather than setting us back. I believe that if Americans elect McCain and Palin, they will eventually regret the choice, a choice of likability and sameness, compared to the choice of courage that America is known for, to pioneer and take our country forward with integrity.
