Unfortunately, my word association with "community organizer" is to see the likes of Al Sharpton disrupting subway and bus service so regular New Yorkers have to struggle to get to work or home via mass transit. Or to see the likes of Al Sharpton perpetrating a hoax a la Tawana Brawley to gain press coverage at the expense of the truth and good reputation of the prosecutor in the case. Or of the Jesse Jackson's of the world threatening to boycott businesses and products so that same businesses will hire cronies and followers of the good Reverend. Where I come from, that tactic is defined by one word..."extortion." I could go on and on with other community organizers from my hometown, whose names are not known to the Sun but whose tactics are oh so vulgar and familiar. Very little in the resume of "Community Organizer" stands for any of the ideas held dear by our Founding Fathers. I'll gladly support any small town mayor over the likes of anyone whose resume claims their claim to fame is community organizer. What a farce!
