Thank you Mr. De Blasio for understanding how important education and public education and fighting for our children's democratic rights to a good education, so they have the ability to financially support themselves and contribute to society as citizens. The narrowly averted disasterous budget cuts to public education should alert people to safeguard our most precious commodity--our children, our democracy and our country's future.
