It's sad when a Chasidic Rebbe (or any Jew) passes from this earth. And the Rebbe of Satmar was a good man, one who held onto beliefs not in congress with most other Jews, but understandable.
It's also, believe it or not, a time for joy, when one realizes that such good men still exist in this world, and hold strongly to "traditional values' as the politicians like to call them. To Jews, both Chasidic and Misnagdisher, Orthodox or some "liberal branch", these values are not negotiable. Judaism thrives, has thrived, and will continue to thrive thanks to men like Rebbe Teitelbaum, of blessed memory.
May his light shine on his flock for many generations to come.
