Everybody and their mother is RAVING about the high level of play in the match between Serena Williams and Jelena Jankovic in the Women's Final at the US Open. Why was the level so high? Because they both had an DAY OFF between their semi-final and the final! Roger Federer was much more fleet of foot than Andy Murray, who was flat footed in the Men's Final at the US Open. Why? Because he had a DAY OFF between his semi-final and the final, and Andy Murray didn't because he had to play Rafael Nadal on Sunday. When will the USTA wise up by giving the players a DAY OFF between the semi-finals and the final. Then, we'll have MANY MORE FINALS at the US Open like Serena Williams and Jelena Jankovic played on Sunday.
