Mr. Sack - I regret that I wasn't able to succesfully communicate what was relevant to me about the Hitchcock film comparison and why TOWEL, BEDROOM, FOG, and BEAUTY feel of a piece to me as impersonal, ivory tower grown, issue-driven melodrama, rather than the intimate character driven drama that their makers and admirers appear to take them for. I stand by what I thought and what I wrote. Perhaps I'll have an opportunity in the future to attempt to make it all a bit clearer (and potentially less aggravating for readers sniffing the air for pretension) somewhere down the line.
