Franklin Avenue Changes as Crown Heights Attracts New Residents

Believe the HYPE. I lived in Carroll Gardens for 10 yrs and recently bought a 3 family on Rogers Ave. and can attest to the change albeit slow. I was on Smith St, recently and recalled old dirty bodegas that have changed their signs to Organic Markets and now sell some vegetables and soy milk and of course cigs and lottery tix still!
