Economics is just like politics or war games. Learn from Korean war, Vietnam war, Afghanistan war, etc... all the guerilla war win most of the time. Even protectionists won the economic game, over all we all loose. Just reason is the free society can not mixed or practiced economic with authoritatian society. It is just that simple. Once politics is different then the economics will be different.
