Men and women such as Wesley Autrey are rare, those altruists who risk their lives to save Jews in Nazi Germany, who risk their own safety for that of others they do not know, who instinctively know that it is just "right" to consider the welfare of others when those others are in need. These people are special and need our appreciation. I would love to contribute some token to him by giving something toward his children's education. Is there a place to send such a contribution as a token of thanks for his being the person he is, a genuine, humble, altruistic role model whose focus is not on himself but on others, a character quality this nation might do a bit better with by having more of it.
