Congestion Pricing Is Popular Among Ideas To Boost MTA

Submitted by Pete, Sep 16, 2008 11:59

It's great that a handful of people in Albany (one person, really) was able to block congestion pricing -- a measure that will prove to be an essential part of any reasonable plan for reinvestment in NYC's transit infrastructure. Of course, in the end it will be implemented anyway. The state legislature's shortsightedness will have bought us nothing but a stupid delay and the loss of federal money for the project. Thanks, guys.
