Oh, dear, more snobbish and superior English people looking down their noses... Who would want to live in such a backward society? I suppose a book which said the English were broadminded (openly homosexual Ministers of the Crown), up for a laugh, less ideologically obsessed than their near neighbours and the creator's of similar polities (constituting in some regions the only stable democracies) around the world would not sell in the USA. How many times did the class ridden anti-semitic English vote Disraeli (sorry – Lord Beaconsfield) into power? How many Jewish Presidents have their been?
