Congestion Pricing Is Popular Among Ideas To Boost MTA

Toby: We'll pay the "true cost" of mass transit just as soon as you pay the true cost of the interstate highway system and network of roads, preferably with user fees for every inch of asphalt on this continent. "Freedom ain't free," after all. Failing to sell off every bit of public property to the highest bidder is downright communistic, as you might say. Moreover, I hope you enjoy shopping around for local militias and fire brigades in this libertarian utopia of yours. You'll be able to settle any dispute -- provided your protection payments are high enough and you don't find yourself outbid by the next guy.
