New York Would Suffer Under Obama Tax Plan

Submitted by Nate, Sep 18, 2008 15:15

This article seems to imply that since more than 10% of New Yorkers earn over $250k per year that all of NY will suffer, but they never provide evidence of this. They also say that more people will look for tax shelters but that's what people do anyway. I always look to write off the most possible to reduce my taxable income, and anyone who makes 6 figures or more per year would be smart to do the same. I think that's why we speak with accountants and financial planners. It all balances out since the extra money people will have will be spent in the stores and businesses that make people wealthy anyway.
