For Owners, Teams Are Just Part of the Portfolio

At least someone admits sports is a business. It is entertainment, not any different than a singer or a movie star,. These entertainers just catch balls. As with others in the entertainment business it is all about the money. That is why there are losing ball teams that can afford to pay millions because the fans give them the money making it a successful business not a losing one. The only losing part is the sport not the business. As longs as the fan pays they will be in business. The Yankees were just handed $180 million by the fans. Thank you fans. Time to get to the new stadium and pay for that entertainment. Can't wait.
