The only paper in the world to truly match Substance to Style issue after issue. The only paper in the world to get my father's obituary correct and a well chosen photo to boot. Again I gave away a copy to a stranger just yesterday (no kidding) and bought another for myself as I have many times in the past. A navy man moving to Israel with his wife happened upon me in a parking lot 2 years after I introduced him to this paper, he had lost faith in papers in general and told me it had changed his world with it's power to reason. I agreed and grinned for the entire afternoon. The compact format and the simple letters section (1,2 or 3) allow you to feel sufficiently informed without killing your whole day. Even the website is an intelligent simple design that allows readers to browse effeciently. I had to laugh when even Howard Dean's mother wrote in to praise The Sun. There's hope for ya ! Eventually you will find the backing you so richly deseve and we will continue to enjoy The Sun 'til the real one doesn't rise in the sky anymore. The closing of the American (and NY) mind should not be hastened. Meanwhile I'm off to the last weekend of the Turner exhibit that you covered so wonderfully, as usual, in your paper weeks ago. Hats off to the whole staff who've been kind and wise the few times i've called, please find the funding, I'd work for you folks anytime...
