The same kind of mind that succumbs to anti-Americanism succumbs to anti-Europeanism. Yeah, Europe has morons and hate-driven dweebs, and those hate-driven dweebs tend to go left instead of right... but America has morons, too -- and ours go right. It is as if each continent has spawned a diseased version of its ideals... New American conservatism is a metastasizing blob of this poison... I spend a lot of time in Europe, and find the European Left quite despicable... almost as despicable as the American right... As the late great Friedrich August von Hayek once said: there is a reason right-wing pseudo-intellectual morons and left-wing pseudo-intellectual morons hate each other: they are each part of ideologies that are competing for the same kind of mind. We should take all these American Righties, European Lefties, and Middle Eastern Islamists (who are of the same sort of rule-following mind) and put them all in a big pit where they can't blow up innocent families -- and let them fight it out... And the one who wins gets to be star of his own reality show... Called "Can we teach this ape to think, or can it only spew slogans it learned from Fox News/the Koran/Greenpeace (take your pick -- the three bibles of idiocy...)
