We are extremely grateful for the excellent work that the NYSun has been doing on this critical matter - in sharp contrast to all the other New York papers. You are absolutely correct in your assessment. We as shareholders have an absolute right to a vote as to what should happen to our property. We understand that rapid action had to be taken, but the market was not happy with the way this government deal seems to have been structured. There has already been mass chaos overseas with respect to AIG businesses, particularly in Asia and in countries where the clients and shareholders are all too familiar with a communist system and see the writing on the wall. There is absolutely no transparency and no respect for the rule of law. It is truly frightening. And, will someone kindly explain to us why the private solution that Mr. Greenberg was putting together was rejected? The US government and AIG management told him to take a hike before even discussing any terms and conditions. Did the AIG management who did this deal simply walk away without any compensation or reward for doing this deal? We highly doubt it. Where is the press on all of this? Sometimes we think that they just don't understand enough about business in general to do the appropriate investigation on this, and demand answers. We are thankful that we are subscribers to the NYSun. Yours sincerely, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond L. Mylott Jr., Esq.
